2024 One Warm Coat Drive Recap

At Kaydan Wealth Management, giving back to our community is a tradition we cherish. This year, our 11th Annual One Warm Coat Drive was a testament to the power of kindness and collaboration. Together, with the support of our clients, team, and community, we made a remarkable impact, collecting:

• 308 coats to keep our neighbors warm this winter
• $900 in monetary donations to support One Warm Coat’s national efforts
• 13 warm blankets
• PLUS two large garbage bags filled with gloves, hats, scarves, and earmuffs

As always, all coat donations were delivered to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint, Michigan to be gifted to those who need warmth the most. (check out delivery pictures here.)

Special Moments and Gratitude This year’s drive was filled with heartwarming contributions and incredible teamwork.

One generous client expanded the drive to their office, inspiring their colleagues to contribute coats and blankets. Two young girls, who discovered our coat drive last year and used their own gift cards to purchase coats for those in need, returned this year with even more enthusiasm, donating a dozen coats! Local Girl Scout Troop #78034 brought their signature kindness and organization skills (click here to see them in action!) to help us wrap up the coat drive. The scouts counted every item, wrote uplifting pocket notes for the coats, bagged all the coats, and prepared everything for delivery. And finally, Jim and Dena Kruzan generously matched the donated coats with brand-new coats, significantly amplifying the impact of this effort.

Many thanks go our to our Kaydan Wealth Management team for their dedication to our coat drive. It’s a team effort to coordinate, organize and transport donations and we’re so proud of everyone who helps makes it a seamless success year after year.
